Alexander James Medick (pronounced /ˈmedɪk/) is an American entrepreneur, marketer and investor based out of Las Vegas. Alex is the Founder and CEO of The New Standard, a digital marketing agency that services clients ranging from arts and entertainment, to consumer packaged goods and technology organizations. Over the course of his career, Alex has demonstrated success across the strategic development, branding, creative marketing and operations of companies in the industries of advertising, entertainment, media and music. Leveraging his extensive experience and industry backgrounds, Alex has become a consulting asset for companies seeing to develop, grow and market their business and team.
Outside of marketing and business development, Alex is an advisor to firms looking for guidance on operations management, human capital improvement, sales, business growth, and voice of customer insights. Alex is also an angel investor; putting his money behind and advising start-ups in the fields of technology, space and entertainment.
Alex studied at the College of Southern Nevada and University of Nevada, Las Vegas, then continued on to Harvard Business School for professional advancement in entrepreneurship and business strategy.
